Behind the WORD
It was about a week ago. I had gone out for lunch and I ended up at another fast food restaurant. This time it was pizza. I put in my order for a thin crust, pepperoni. BTW ... my favorite is pepperoni and hamburger :-). As I was waiting, I began to feel a bit guilty. I thought ... you need to eat better than this. One day ... pizza. Another day ... a burger and fries. This has to stop. This can't do a body good!
Then my next thought was, "your BODY is a temple." If my BODY is a temple I can't mistreat it with food or other activities (you fill in the blank) that diminish its worth. For me, I need to exercise and eat better. What about you? Are you mistreating your BODY? We only have one BODY. So treat it right!
